Position Description
General Service Bureau is a family owned third party collections business. We have a dedicated staff of collection professionals offering recovery services for all types of businesses and industries. Our collectors are trained to remain professional, confident and firm and comply to the ethical standards for the American Collectors Association and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Our collectors are responsible for securing payment on incurred debt by extensive phone contact.
Experience and Education:
- Possess a minimum of six months previous collections experience
- Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act
- Possess excellent communication and negotiating skills
- High School Diploma
