Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
· Placing outbound calls & accepting inbound calls from UAC customers
· Utilizing your communication and negotiation skills to resolve the delinquent account
· Locating and speaking with the customer and/or following up on previous payment arrangements
· Conduct yourself tactfully, with the ability to resolve challenging situations professionally and calmly in a firm but friendly manner
Basic minimum requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Previous telephone experience. Collections experience preferred, but not required
· Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations
· Negotiations, counseling and problem solving skills
· Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
· Must successfully complete pre-employment Criminal Background check
